Bio: I returned to Alaska (to teach at UAF) in 1999 and now I commute between Alaska—Anchorage where I teach, and Fairbanks where my daughter & her family live—and Central Pennsylvania, where Ian & I are restoring an old farmhouse - a.k.a. THE MONEY PIT - in preparation for a quiet retirement sometime in the next decade.
